Mexican and Puerto Rican Food With Flair
Café el Sol, located in the heart of Milwaukee's Hispanic community, within the United Community Center, specializes in both Mexican and Puerto Rican cuisine—adding more than a touch of flair to your next breakfast, lunch or dinner.
A highlight is the special Latin-style fish dinner buffet on Friday nights complete with live Latin entertainment from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.—definitely not your ordinary fish fry. The Friday night Fish Dinner Buffet was voted in October of 2003 by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel readers as one of the "Best Ethnic Adaptations" of a local fish fry.
The unique and very popular Friday evening fish dinner buffet offers both broiled and fried fish with a variety of Latin cuisine.
Each Friday evening buffet also includes Live Latin entertainment from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. La Peña performances are named for an old Spanish tradition among travelers to gather around bonfires to share their experiences through music, dance and stories.
