Who do we serve?
30% are under the age of 18
More than 40% at or below the poverty level with household incomes of less than $25,000 per year
Ethnicity: 80% Hispanic, 11% Caucasian, 6% African-American, 2% Asian, and 1% Native American
Within Hispanic Ethnicity: 40% Mexican, 36% Puerto Rican, 4% Other Hispanic, and 20% did not disclose
35% reside in either the 53204 or 53215 postal codes
55% reside in the City of Milwaukee
70% reside in Milwaukee County
Who helps us with our mission?
Almost 200 full-time staff and 50 part-time staff who manage, guide, and lead our programs and services
More than 850
volunteers
each year, from students to corporations who come for one day or on a weekly basis to help serve our clients
Nearly 300 individual donors and 57 corporations and foundations who provide needed financial support
Hundreds of partners and collaborators who join with us to create and deliver creative and quality programs
