The purpose of this program is to create community-developed materials in a fotonovela format to increase health literacy in the Latino community.
Latina women are in need of health literacy, a format that is easy and recognizable for them and at the same time rich in information regarding health matters and resources in the community. A fotonovela is a tool which the participants will be using where they will put pictures together in a certain format to tell a story about a particular aspect of their lives.
