AODA Day Treatment Program
UCC operates a licensed Day Treatment alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) clinic. Participants in this program meet for extended intensive sessions of group therapy and individual therapy with certified AODA counselors. Group therapy sessions focus on a wide range of topics. Services are conducted by a bilingual, bicultural staff that is culturally sensitive to Hispanic clients.
The program utilizes certified AODA counselors, a psychiatrist and mental health clinicians for clients dually-diagnosed with AODA and mental health issues, and registered nurse availability.
The clinic is open Monday through Friday and the program is a non-residential service totaling a minimum of 12 hours of treatment. There is no fee for services to eligible, qualified candidates. For those who do not qualify for free services, there is a sliding fee scale based on client income, as well as insurance coverage for clients with appropriate coverage.
