UCC operates a licensed outpatient alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) treatment clinic with a bilingual, bilcutural staff that is better equipped to deal with the cultural sensitivities of Hispanic clients. The program utilizes certified AODA counselors, psychiatrists and mental health clinicians for clients dually-diagnosed with AODA and mental health issues.
The clinic is open Monday through Thrusday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is no fee for services to eligible, qualified candidates. For those who do not qualify for free services, there is a sliding fee scale based on client income, as well as insurance coverage for clients with appropriate coverage.
