UCC provides a licensed, outpatient mental health clinic with bilingual, bicultural, certified mental health clinicians who are equipped to deal with the cultural sensitivities of Hispanic clients. It is estimated that 70 percent of Latino substance abuse clients have mental health issues which also require attention.
Mental health services are available from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a sliding fee scale based on client income, as well as insurance coverage for clients with appropriate coverage.
