Health Research Department

Health Research ProgramsThe Health Research Department implements activities and programs from multidisciplinary fields of scientific investigation that study how social factors, health care inequities, and personal behaviors affect the health and well-being of Latino individuals, families, older adults, and the greater community.

Our aim is to utilize evidence-based research and related activities to help create healthier, stronger individuals and families, and in turn, a healthier and well-informed Latino community in the greater Milwaukee area. We collaborate with academic investigators as the community partner to conduct community-engaged research..
