Arturo Vazquez Berriel, IT Director
Arturo Vazquez Berriel serves as IT Director at United Community Center, overseeing technical support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His relationship with UCC began in 2000, when he joined the organization as a volunteer. Since then, UCC has become his second home, a place where he can combine his passion for technology with his commitment to serving others.
Arturo graduated in 2000 from the Universidad de Guadalajara in Ocotlán, Jalisco, Mexico, with a degree in Computer Engineering. He is currently pursuing a second degree in Applied Computing at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. With more than 22 years of technical support experience and three years in IT management, he focuses on sharing knowledge, building his team’s confidence, and helping team members understand how their work supports UCC’s mission.
Arturo believes diplomacy and a smile are among the best ways to open doors and build lasting relationships. He finds purpose in helping UCC employees use technology effectively so they can better serve the community. Outside of work, Arturo enjoys music, outdoor activities, Formula 1, European soccer, and spending time with family, friends, and his beloved dog, Rocky.
